ClearUp Station (“the App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides a local device–based file management and storage-cleaning experience. This document explains how we handle data, what rights you have, and under what terms you may use the App.
1. Data Handling Overview
ClearUp Station performs all core operations — scanning files, calculating storage size, identifying unused data types, and performing file deletion — entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store personal files or device contents on external servers. To enable file access, the App requires permission to read, analyze, and delete files found on your device. These permissions are used solely for providing functionality that you explicitly invoke.
2. Third-Party Technologies
Although ClearUp Station does not collect your personal content,
certain third-party services may be integrated for operational or
measurement purposes:
Attribution Platforms (e.g., install tracking SDKs): used only to
understand how users arrive at the App.
Analytics Services (e.g., general analytics providers): used to
observe app performance trends, crash behavior, or feature
effectiveness.
Firebase Services: may be used for application stability,
diagnostics, and general analytic signals.
Any third-party provider processes only non-identifying technical
metrics, following their own published privacy terms. We do not
permit these partners to access your local files or extract content
stored on your device.
3. Data Protection Officer (DPO)
We designate the following Data Protection Officer for inquiries
related to privacy and data handling:
Name: Jonathan Reed
Email: basra.stamp.cellular@gmail.com
You may contact the DPO at any time for questions, complaints, or
rights requests.
4. Choices Regarding Data Sharing or Selling
ClearUp Station does not sell personal data and does not share
user-identifying information with external entities. Should you
prefer that no data of any form (including analytics-related
technical information) be shared with third-party platforms, you may
disable all optional analytics and attribution features through:
The App settings page, or
By reaching out to the DPO to request that any third-party
connections be fully opted-out.
5. Data Retention Practices
Because ClearUp Station does not store personal content externally,
data retention is minimal:
Local device content: remains only on your device and is retained
according to your actions.
Analytics or diagnostic signals: retained by third-party providers
only as long as necessary for stability improvement and service
functioning.
User-initiated requests: any communication logs associated with
rights requests are kept solely long enough to respond
appropriately.
No user files are ever exported or retained by us.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have some or all of the
following rights:
Right of Access You may request information about what data, if any,
has been processed about you.
Right to Correction If any stored or associated data is found to be
inaccurate or incomplete, you may request a correction or update.
Right to Know About Sharing You may ask whether any of your
information has been shared with third parties and for what
purposes.
Right to Know About Sale You are entitled to confirm whether any
data has been sold. We do not sell personal information.
Right to Deletion You may request deletion of any information
processed about you. Since we do not keep personal data, deletion
typically applies only to optional analytics-related identifiers.
Right to Complain If you believe your rights have been violated, you
may file a complaint with your regional data-protection
authority.
To exercise any right, please contact our DPO via the contact
details above.
7. Legal Basis for Processing
We rely on the following legal grounds when processing data or
permissions:
Performance of Services: accessing file storage is required to
provide cleaning and file-management features.
User Consent: analytics, attribution, and any optional third-party
services are activated only with user consent.
Legitimate Interest: improving performance, preventing crashes, and
reducing misuse.
8. Security Measures
ClearUp Station uses no external servers to store personal files. Any technical data that passes through third-party partners is handled using secure transmission protocols and restricted access policies as enforced by those providers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy & EULA periodically. Updated versions will be published within the App. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
